Cancellation policy

Consumers have the right to withdraw in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to his commercial nor to his independent professional activity:

A. Cancellation Terms

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires possession of the last goods. To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but this is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this agreement, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this agreement. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will any costs be charged for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier. You must return the goods without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of the cancellation of this agreement. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. The direct costs of returning the goods are your responsibility. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or early expiration of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of concluding the agreement, do not belong to a member state of the European Union and whose only residence and delivery address are located outside the European Union at the time of concluding the agreement.

General information

1) Avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.

2) Please do not return the goods to us.

3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a condition for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

General terms and conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC) OF Yize (As of: Oct. 7, 2025)

§ 1 Scope, Subject of the Contract, Amendment of the GTC

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") of Yize, Ringlaan 80/2 3900 Pelt, Belgium, email: info@yize.be, (hereinafter "Yize", "we" or "us") apply exclusively to orders and the resulting deliveries to the customer (hereinafter also "you" or "your"). The inclusion of the customer's own terms is rejected unless otherwise agreed. Our current GTC can be viewed at https://yize.be/policy.

(2) The subject of the contractual relationship between Yize and you is the recurring delivery of goods such as ready-made meals, groceries, and recipes, including add-ons or other goods. You can also order gift cards to redeem with Yize. No interest or cash refund of the balance of a gift card will be granted, neither to you nor to third parties. Our offer is aimed at end consumers in the Benelux region. The goods you order or the gift card you order are therefore not intended for resale. Orders are only accepted in household quantities, unless otherwise agreed.

(3) Yize reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in the future, for example, due to changes to our offering, legal requirements, case law, or changing market conditions. We will inform you of planned changes electronically, for example by email, at least one month in advance and point out your right to object. You agree to the amendments to these Terms and Conditions if you do not exercise your right to object in a timely manner and continue to purchase our products after the amendments take effect. If you object to the amendments to these Terms and Conditions, Yize reserves the right to terminate the contractual relationship.

§ 2 Registration of a Customer Account, No Data Provision

(1) Yize's offerings, including the registration of a customer account, are aimed at persons aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian supervision and permission to use Yize's offerings.

(2) To use Yize's offers, register with a customer account via the Yize website.

(3) When registering for a customer account, you must provide an email address and a telephone number (hereinafter: access data). You agree to use an email address that you are authorized to use. During registration, you will provide additional valid information to your user account, consisting of your first and last name, delivery/billing address, and telephone number. In addition, a payment method, such as a credit card or PayPal account, must be specified during the registration process. Regardless of the payment methods mentioned, other payment methods remain available, which can be activated and supplemented during registration or in the subsequent contractual relationship, if possible and available. Your information provided during the registration process must be current and truthful and must be kept up to date even in the event of future changes to the contractual relationship with Yize.

(4) Access data may not be disclosed to third parties and must be kept secure and inaccessible to unauthorized persons. Any loss or discovery of access data by third parties must be reported to Yize  immediately. The customer is liable under statutory provisions for any culpable misuse of their access data by third parties, for example, for orders and any claims arising therefrom.

§ 3 Non-binding Information, Product Images, Contract Conclusion

(1) Information about our goods and prices prior to the conclusion of the contract is non-binding and not obligatory.

(2) Our product images do not always have to correspond to the actual appearance of the delivered goods. Similarly, the appearance and equipment of goods may change due to assortment updates from manufacturers or suppliers. Additionally, it may be necessary to replace certain goods in the dishes you have chosen for delivery due to seasonal factors, such as weather conditions.

(3) A contract between Yize and you is concluded as follows: You can make a legally binding offer by fully completing and confirming the order form provided by Yize after registering with your true data in your customer account. You specify the composition of the delivery box, including the box size.

By clicking the button "order with payment obligation," you make a binding offer for the regular receipt of the selected box and the underlying subscription contract (see also § 5 paragraph 1 of these terms and conditions) or for an add-on, another product, or a gift card. The confirmation of receipt of your order will be sent via an automated email from Yize. This order confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the offer by Yize. Yize can accept the offer by sending a binding acceptance or by sending the ordered goods or the ordered gift card. Only with Yize's acceptance of the offer does a claim for delivery of the goods or the gift card arise. Until that time, Yize can refuse acceptance of the offer at any time without giving reasons. The presentation of the respective goods in Yize's online store does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalog that informs you of your options to make an offer.

§ 4 Information about the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers

(1) The ready-made meals, groceries, or add-ons distributed by Yize are perishable goods or goods that must be stored frozen at all times to prevent spoilage. Therefore, the customer has no right of withdrawal (Section 312g, paragraph 2, no. 2, of the German Civil Code).

(2) This does not affect your right of withdrawal for gift cards (see § 1 paragraph 2 of these terms and conditions) or for goods that do not constitute goods within the meaning of § 312g paragraph 2 no. 2 BGB. The following withdrawal instruction applies to these goods:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us

Yize, Ringlaan 80/2 3900 Pelt, Belgium, email: info@yize.be

by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax, or email) informing you of your decision to revoke this agreement. You may use the attached model form for revocation for this purpose, but it is not mandatory. To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification regarding the exercise of the right of revocation before the revocation period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you revoke this agreement, we will refund you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we are informed of your revocation of this agreement. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any costs for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, depending on which time is earlier. You must return the goods to us without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days after the day you have informed us of the revocation of this agreement. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

§ 5 Duration of the contract, Changes, Scope of the contract, Termination, Pausing

(1) The contract concluded with us for the recurring delivery of goods is concluded for an indefinite period (hereinafter also referred to as "subscription agreement"). Only in specially marked cases, such as trial boxes or for redeeming designated vouchers, can there be a contract with a fixed term or a fixed number of deliveries.

(2) In the case of a contract with a fixed term or a fixed number of agreed deliveries, the contract ends with the expiration of the term or with the dispatch of the agreed deliveries. A separate termination is not necessary in these cases. Furthermore, the contractual relationship in these cases is not automatically extended.

(3) The subscription agreement can be changed by you or Yize at any time up to 48 hours before the delivery is made. Deviations from this rule may be communicated by Yize on a case-by-case basis in special cases, for example, due to holidays.

(4) The scope of the subscription agreement is determined by your specifications in the customer account, i.e., the composition of the box according to your preferences, including the size of the box and the number of dishes. You continuously determine the composition of your dishes in the box from the available products, taking into account the deadlines specified in Section 5, paragraph 3 of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not make a menu selection before the deadlines specified in Section 5, paragraph 3 of these Terms and Conditions expire, you will receive a box with goods pre-selected by Yize based on your specifications, including the box size and previous orders.

(5) You can change the specification and size of the box before the start of each new week, subject to the deadlines in § 5 paragraph 3 of these terms and conditions. In addition, you can add one-time add-ons to the box, without them becoming part of further deliveries in the subsequent delivery intervals.

(6) Cancellation is possible on a weekly basis and takes place according to the deadlines specified in Section 5, paragraph 3, of these Terms and Conditions. The time of receipt of the cancellation is decisive. Cancellation before receipt of the first delivery of a box is not possible. The cancellation must be communicated to Yize in text form. In the event of timely termination of the contractual relationship, the amount for any orders paid for but not delivered will be refunded to you.

(7) Yize is entitled to cancel orders from the customer and terminate the contractual relationship with the customer if there are indications that the customer violates applicable law or contractual provisions, including these GTC, in the contractual relationship with Yize.

(8) Instead of termination, the delivery of a box can be paused at any time via the customer account. The respective deadlines according to § 5 paragraph 3 of these terms and conditions apply for the receipt of the declaration. A pause applies only for the chosen period and must be carried out by you separately for each weekly delivery date.

§ 6 Delivery, Delivery Requirements, Transfer of Risk, Retention of Title

(1) Yize ships orders for goods only to addresses in the Benelux that can be delivered by a delivery service. Deliveries to automated parcel or packing stations are not made. If the concluded contract concerns a gift card, the gift card will be sent to an email address provided by you.

(2) Yize will ship the goods you have selected or those we have pre-selected in a box to the address you have saved in your customer account. A change of address is only possible within the same country. Section 5, paragraph 3, of these Terms and Conditions applies accordingly to the earliest possible date at which address changes can be processed.

(3) Delivery will take place using transport packaging suitable for frozen goods and dry ice within 1-3 business days. You ensure that personal handover of the goods is possible at the delivery address you provided in your customer account on the delivery day you selected. The delivery day can be continuously changed in the customer account after registration and the first order, taking into account the deadlines mentioned in § 5 paragraph 3 of these terms.

(4) The delivery of goods takes place at the delivery address specified by the customer. The customer must ensure that the specified delivery address is correct and complete and that delivery to office addresses is possible without issues. It is an essential contractual component that the customer ensures that the delivery is accepted on that day, either personally or by an authorized adult. If delivery is unjustly refused, an incorrect delivery address is provided, or the goods cannot be accepted or delivered for other reasons caused by the customer, despite correct order processing on our part, the customer is obliged to bear all incurred costs.

(5) If personal handover of the goods is not possible, the contract can also be fulfilled by delivering the goods to a neighboring household or business, provided you have expressly authorized us for this in the individual case or permanently. Neighboring households or businesses are preferably recipients in the same building as the addressee. Additionally, delivery can take place to recipients of a neighboring household who are within walking distance of the delivery address (e.g., the same residential complex, across the street, or neighboring houses). Alternatively, the goods can be delivered to a parcel shop, provided you have expressly authorized us for this in the individual case or permanently.

(6) If you have granted a placement authorization, the contract can also be fulfilled by placing the goods at the delivery address you specify, which is accessible to the delivering driver. In this case, you must ensure that the placement location is determined as accurately as possible. Any ambiguities in specifying the placement location are the customer's responsibility. Yize is not obligated to verify the suitability of the placement location specified by the customer.

(7) By delivering to a neighboring household, business, or parcel shop, or by placing the goods according to instructions at the specified location of the delivery address (see § 6 paragraph 4 and paragraph 5 of these terms), the risk of loss and/or damage to the goods passes to the customer, insofar as the customer has expressly authorized the mentioned delivery or placement for the individual case or permanently and the delivery of the goods has taken place within the delivery day specified by the customer.

(8) If personal delivery of the goods at the delivery address is not possible, nor is delivery to a neighboring household, business, or parcel shop permitted by the customer, and there is no placement authorization, the customer is in default of acceptance, provided that the goods have been delivered within the delivery date specified by the customer. Yize is not obligated to make a new delivery attempt. In all other respects, the statutory provisions regarding the consequences of default of acceptance apply.

(9) If the customer is a business, delivery takes place at the customer's risk. This also applies to partial deliveries. If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the sold goods only passes to the customer upon transfer of the item to the customer. It is equivalent to the transfer if the customer is in default of acceptance.

(10) The goods must be checked for completeness and transport damage immediately upon receipt by the customer or their representative. Any transport damage must be reported to us immediately. Packaging damage must be confirmed in writing by the customer through the transport company upon acceptance of the goods.

(11) The safety instructions included with the shipment for handling dry ice must be followed.

§ 7 Warranty

The statutory warranty applies.

§ 8 Prices, Expiration Date, Payment

(1) Prices include applicable VAT and, unless otherwise agreed, shipping costs within the Benelux. Yize is entitled to make price adjustments in the event of cost increases during the subscription term and is obligated to pass on cost reductions to you according to the same standards to reflect changes in the total subscription costs. Such costs include, for example, changed production, manufacturing, delivery, or shipping costs for goods, including associated service fees for maintaining the subscription (e.g., provision of the IT infrastructure, customer service, personnel, administration, sales, marketing, rent), and changes in taxes such as VAT. We will inform you of the reason and scope of the price change at least one month in advance in text form, for example, by email. This does not affect your right of cancellation under Section 5, paragraph 6, of these Terms and Conditions.

(2) Yize's claims are immediately due, without prejudice to any statutory right of withdrawal.

(3) You can pay using an available payment method, such as a credit card, PayPal, or another available payment method. Additionally, you can save an alternative payment method in your customer account if the primary payment method is declined or no longer available. During the term of the contract, you must ensure that the information regarding the chosen payment method is correct and up to date. Changes to the chosen payment method must be communicated to us immediately through your customer account.

(4) By placing an order through your customer account, you agree and authorize Yize: to charge the payment method you provided immediately; to automatically charge an alternative payment method linked to your account if the primary payment method is declined or no longer available; and to provide payment information and instructions necessary to complete the payment between Yize, our payment processors, and their third parties.

(5) Regarding further deliveries, the specified payment method will be continuously charged during the term of the contract, with the charge possibly starting up to seven (7) days before delivery, unless you have paused an order or canceled the contract. Due to discount promotions and special offers, there may be varying charge amounts during the term of the contract.

(6) You must ensure that you are authorized to use the specified payment method during the term of the contract and that you have sufficient coverage so that the payment can be made. The charge to the payment method may only be visible to you a few days after the actual charge date for technical reasons.

(7) In the event of a failed payment, it may occur that Yize attempts to collect the payment again at a later time, provided that your order has not been previously canceled by Yize due to the failed payment.

(8) If collection of the claim fails due to circumstances attributable to the customer—in particular, due to insufficient coverage, incorrect or invalid information, or an objection—the customer is obligated to remedy the payment default so that, in addition to the outstanding amount, any bank charges incurred and any reminder fees can be paid by the customer after the payment term has expired. The customer may prove that Yize has suffered no or less damage.

(9) If the customer has not paid the outstanding amount even after several payment requests, the necessary data may be passed on to a collection agency engaged by Yize.

§ 9 Redemption of Vouchers and Credit

(1) The redemption conditions for vouchers are based on the respective campaigns. In the event of contradictions between the redemption conditions of a campaign and these terms and conditions, the redemption conditions of the respective campaign take precedence.

(2) Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the following conditions generally apply to the redemption of vouchers: Vouchers cannot be combined with other discount promotions or other credits; Vouchers, except for gift cards (see § 1 paragraph 2 of these terms), may only be redeemed by new customers, unless they are explicitly intended for existing customers; retroactive granting of vouchers is not possible; Vouchers, except for gift cards (see § 1 paragraph 2 of these terms), may not be redeemed by new customers living in a common household with an existing or former customer; there is no cash payout of vouchers/credits.

(3) Credits for private referrals, for example under our "Referral Program", will be offset against the purchase price of the next delivery after redemption. If the accumulated credits exceed the purchase price of the next delivery, the credit will be applied to subsequent deliveries until the credit is exhausted.

(4) The amount of the credit for the referring customer is determined by the current offer at the time of the order by the referred new customer. The credit expires after two years. The period begins at the end of the year in which the credit was obtained. Payout or transfer of the credit to third parties is excluded.

(5) You are entitled to publish your personal voucher code only on your private website, private blog, or private social network profile. The voucher code will be automatically deactivated after reaching the maximum number of redemptions specified in the respective terms. Publication of the voucher code on commercial websites or third-party websites such as coupon sites, deal blogs, or forums is not allowed. The same applies to a request published on the mentioned websites or profiles to contact you to share the personal voucher code. If the voucher code is published or shared in violation of this paragraph 5.

The voucher code will be deactivated. Likewise, any credits obtained in violation of this section 5 will be invalidated. Orders for which a recommended new customer uses a voucher code that has been published or shared unauthorizedly may be canceled by Yize at any time.

§ 10 Liability of Yize, Obligations of the Customer

(1) Yize shall be liable for damages to the customer a) resulting from injury to life, body or health caused by a breach of duty by Yize or one of its legal representatives or vicarious agents; b) under the Product Liability Act; c) from the assumption of a guarantee or through fraud; d) if Yize  or its legal representatives or vicarious agents caused the damage intentionally or through gross negligence; or e) if the damage was caused by the breach of an obligation by Yize, the fulfillment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible and on the compliance of which the customer regularly relies and may rely (cardinal obligation).

(2) In the cases of the previous paragraph 1, letters a), b), c), and/or d), liability is unlimited. In all other cases, compensation is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.

(3) In cases other than those mentioned in paragraph 1, Yize's liability, regardless of the legal basis, is excluded.

(4) The liability provisions in the preceding paragraphs also apply to the personal liability of the bodies, employees and vicarious agents of Yize.

(5) The customer is obliged to carefully read and follow product, consumption, and warning instructions for delivered goods.

§ 11 Data Protection

As the data controller, Yize processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). We process personal data you provide us during the ordering process to fulfill our contractual obligations with you (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR), for example, to process the order. In addition, we process your data if there is a legitimate interest on our part or on the part of a third party (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR), for example, to optimize our processes or for direct marketing purposes. Furthermore, we may process your data if you have previously consented to this (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR). § 12 Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a product in your order, we will refund the purchase price.

(1) The possibility to claim the satisfaction guarantee applies for 14 days after receipt of the products.

(2) The satisfaction guarantee applies only to satisfaction regarding the consumption of the products and does not apply to issues related to delivery.

(3) The satisfaction guarantee only applies to the first order with Yize.

(4) The satisfaction guarantee applies only to orders within the Benelux.
